The U.S. Department of State's Office of American Spaces has published their 2017 annual report highlighting the many achievements of American Spaces—650 physical and virtual platforms worldwide that provide content and infrastructure to engage with foreign audiences in support of U.S. foreign policy objectives.
The document explores the diverse partnerships linking American Spaces with public and private entities throughout 2017. These partnerships are at the core of American Spaces' success in public diplomacy engagement around the world.
"As predicted in the 2016 Office of American Spaces annual report, 2017 was a year of expanding partnerships of all types. The office took major steps to achieve significant inroads in this area, while encouraging American Spaces and the embassies and consulates that oversee them to do the same," explains the report.
