The Australia India Youth Dialogue (AIYD) is a youth-led yearly encounter between 15 talented young minds from each country.
The event, held in Australia and India on alternating years, features a conference where emerging leaders exchange ideas about how to strengthen the Australia-India relationship.
The video below showcases an introduction to the conference and captures its mission to foster bilateral connections.
"The Australia-India relationship is hugely important strategically and economically," explains James Edwards, an AIYD Steering Committee Member. "What differentiates it from other relationships that Australia and India both have internationally, is the cross-pollination that we have between young leaders, young academics and young workers, and the dialogue really focuses on these personal connections."
You can find the original video on AIYD's YouTube channel here.
