CPD Director Addresses Public Diplomacy and the Muslim World After 9/11

CPD Director Philip Seib participated in a Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) roundtable discussion, “Engaging the Muslim World: Public Diplomacy After 9/11,” on Tuesday, April 17 in Washington, D.C. The event allowed experts an opportunity to provide informed perspectives on the conduct of public diplomacy in Muslim-majority countries since 9/11.

Between February and April, CSIS will host host a series of expert panels to examine how public diplomacy can engage innovatively with Muslim populations. The project will culminate in a report on key findings and policy recommendations that will offer a new prism for viewing U.S. public diplomacy efforts in the Muslim world.
