Environmentalism Beyond Borders: The Climate Diplomacy of the EU

Diarmuid Torney and CPD Contributing Scholar Mai'a K. Davis Cross discuss the European Union's environmental efforts around the world in their piece for the book European Union External Environmental Policy: Rules, Regulation and Governance Beyond Borders. Their chapter, "Environmental and Climate Diplomacy: Building Coalitions Through Persuasion" focuses on the EU's Green Diplomacy Network as well as its participation in the COP21 in 2015. 

Other interesting chapters include "Environmental Instruments in Development Cooperation: Promoting Better Development and Environmental Outcomes?" by Camilla Adelle, Sarah Delputte, Frederik De Roeck and Sally Nicholson as well as a look at the EU's environmental policy in Latin America by Roberto Dominguez.
