Learn to Craft Social Stories Successfully

“I understand storytelling and the power of good storytelling…So, I think the government using some of the tools and capabilities of the private sector to enhance our own messaging and content is a great thing,” says Richard Stengel, U.S. Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs

After a very successful program last year, CPD is launching its second Mini-Course with a new focus: storytelling. CPD is proud to introduce the first ever public diplomacy professional training in Storytelling, to be held in May 16-18, 2016 in Washington. Practitioners learn how to use this craft as a powerful platform for connecting and communicating across cultures, especially when linguistic differences separate author and audience.

The Mini-Course introduces multimedia storytelling techniques from various fields, including journalism, entertainment, advertising, and public diplomacy. Experts from these fields share their insights on both the art and technology of storytelling.

This three-day intensive course equips PD practitioners and those in affiliated fields with the skills to capture audience attention in an age of information overload. Reserve your spot and find out more information about it here.
