Does the world trust government, media and big tech?
On October 24, CPD and the Embassy of Sweden in Washington, D.C. co-hosted Public Diplomacy for the Digital Future, a forum that explored multi-stakeholder cooperation in the digital space and the impact of innovation on relationships between business, government and citizens.
Panelist Jacob Poushter, Senior Researcher at Pew Research Center and expert in international survey research, shared Pew data on social media usage, trust in technology and other digital trends around the world.
"It's really young people who are forging ahead and using these tools on a day-to-day basis," shared Poushter, discussing social media engagement. "That's an important understanding for how they think about the world."
