In the last two months the Hungarian pavilion at the international exposition in Astana, Kazakhstan, received 200,000 visitors, Minister for National Economy Mihály Varga said on Friday on the "Hungary Day" of Expo 2017 Astana - Future Energy.

Many events occur in the world today and such events as the World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue can be useful for solving global problems, Hungarian Minister of State for Cultural and Science Diplomacy Istvn Jgyrt told Trend. He made the remarks on the sidelines of the 4th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue in Baku May 5. "The forum is extremely important," Jgyrt said. "Without a dialogue it is impossible to go forward. The forum should continue to bring people together."

The three-day cultural event featured folk performances and exhibitions that featured the cultures of both countries. [...] Ijgyarto reiterated the importance of cultural cooperation between countries, since no political or economic cooperation is possible without cultural cooperation. In other words, what is important besides political and economic relationships is people-to-people contact.
