Diplomacy students from the UAE gained hands-on experience on a recent visit to the UAE Embassy in Washington DC, the UAE consulate and the UAE mission to the United Nations in New York. Rodriguez, or Maestra Paola, as she is referred to by the staff, is an exchange teacher through the Oregon Initiative Binational Teacher Exchange. The exchange is designed to emphasize cooperation between the Mexican and U.S. departments of education through joint activities, according to the Oregon Department of Education.
