Some 13,000 Jewish youth are expected to come to Israel this coming year to participate in Masa, the organization announced on Thursday. The program provides Jewish youth the opportunity to participate in over 250 immersive Israel programs ranging in length from six months to a year, which include internships, study abroad programs, and volunteer opportunities.
Seventeen Muslim, Christian, and Jewish women visited Northwest Indiana due to the efforts of the Jewish Federation of Northwest Indiana. The “Cooking a Dialogue” program was started to encourage a dialogue between Arab and Jewish women in the Western Galilee region of Israel. They have gotten to know each other on a personal level as well as learn about each other’s culture, customs, and food.
The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) signed an agreement on Sunday to increase education and research exchanges and collaborations. Maryland Governor Larry Hogan, UMB President Jay A.
