Elizabeth Stoycheff is Assistant Professor of Communication at Wayne State University, and her research focuses on how new media influences public opinion and its implications for democratic development and sustainability. She has published in flagship communication journals on the subjects of democratization, media freedom and censorship, and online mass surveillance systems.
