Ethan McAndrews received a B.A. in International Studies and a B.A. in East Asian Languages and Cultures from Indiana University. His writing focuses on public diplomacy and its interactions with art, food and sports. McAndrews has studied extensively in mainland China, most recently as a 2019 Boren Scholar at Nanjing University. He speaks English, Chinese and French.
