Suzie Sri Suparin S. Sudarman is a senior lecturer at International Relations Studies Department Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Universitas Indonesia, Jakarta, Indonesia.
Ms. Sudarman's Professional Educational Experiences' started when she received Doctorandus (Dra.) from Political Science Faculty of Social and Political Sciences University of Indonesia in 1980. In 1989 she received a Certificate on the United States (U.S.) Foreign Policy Process from the University of Maryland, USA. She then received a Master of Arts in U.S. Foreign Policy and International Economics in 1993 from the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) USA. She has studied at Johns Hopkins University USA and U.S. Foreign Policy Studies at Northwestern University USA, and a Doctorate from Universitas Indonesia. She received a Certificate from The Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies 2016. Since 2004 she has been a member of the Board of Advisors of the United States-Indonesia Society (USINDO) Washington D.C. to the present, Board of Advisor INADIS (2019-2023) (Indonesian Institute of Advanced International Studies) Foundation, Board of Advisor of GenerasiMelekPolitik (GMP), and Advisor to FISIPUI Alumni Association. She is a member of IASA (International American Studies Association) and BACS (The British Association for Chinese Studies). At the Universitas Indonesia, she has worked as Researcher since the Summer of 1996 to the present, she has also worked as Director of the American Studies Center. She has published on U.S. Foreign Policy and Defense Policy and U.S.-China Leadership in East Asia and the Pacific.
Her CPD research project is titled, "Transformational Diplomacy and Indonesia."
