Cultural Exchange Becomes Spotlight on 3rd WIC
The 3rd World Internet Conference(WIC), which was held between Nov. 16 and 18 in Wuzhen, Zhejiang Province, has drawn wide public attention. Themed on "Innovation-driven Internet Development for the Benefit of All - Building a Community of Common Future in Cyberspace", it has attracted over 1,200 representatives from governments, international organizations, enterprises, research institute, technical communities and civil groups to discuss common issues in global internet development. And the debate on cultural exchanges was the spotlight of the event.

A stroll around the UAE section at the recent World Travel Market (WTM) in London confirms the country’s tourism industry is in rude health. It didn't take a divisive presidential election to get Mark Chester interested in immigrants. Chester has been celebrating immigrants for years, making it his mission to photograph two people from every nation. Chester is well on his way. Since 2011, he's photographed people from 185 of the world's 196 countries, all of them immigrants who have settled in Massachusetts, a state he affectionately calls "a mini United Nations."
Chile, South Korea Begin Process to Boost Their Historic FTA
Chile and South Korea have announced they are beginning negotiations to strengthen the bilateral Free Trade Agreement they signed 12 years ago, the first ever between a Latin American and an Asian country. Chilean Foreign Minister Heraldo Muñoz, together with South Korea’s Trade, Industry and Power Minister Joo Hyung-hwan, signed a joint declaration in Lima on Friday to boost the existing agreement, which has been in force since 2004.
NFL Heads to Mexico Amid Concerns
Once again, the NFL is thinking global. On Monday night, the Houston Texans and Oakland Raiders meet for a game in Mexico City at Estadio Azteca. The game comes a little more than 11 years after the league had its first regular season game outside of the United States, which also took place in Mexico City [...] But it also comes at a time when relations between the two countries, and U.S. relationships with many other foreign leaders, is uncertain.
47th International Film Festival of India Is Going to Witness Many New Initiatives
