Shanghai’s photo exhibition opens in Ho Chi Minh City

Approximately 100 colour photos showcased at the exhibition feature Shanghai’s economic, political, cultural and social achievements in recent years. The exhibition, a rehearsal for the World Photo Exhibition to be held in Shanghai in May, gives visitors a comprehensive view of the city’s origins and history.

Meeting of the US Advisory Commission on Public Diplomacy

On Monday, March 15, 2010, the US Advisory Commission on Public Diplomacy held a public meeting. The primary purpose was for the Commission to get a better handle on interagency collaboration on issues related to public diplomacy, specifically between the State Department and the Defense Department.

Dismantling of Saudi-CIA Web site illustrates need for clearer cyberwar policies

The CIA argued that dismantling the site would lead to a significant loss of intelligence. The NSA countered that taking it down was a legitimate operation in defense of U.S. troops. Although one Pentagon official asserted that the military did not have the authority to conduct such operations, the top military commanders made a persuasive case that extremists were using the site to plan attacks.
