Vivian S. Walker's latest contribution to the CPD Perspectives in Public Diplomacy series is now available. Titled "The Reem Island Ghost: Framing State Narratives on Terror," the paper "examines the effort of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to rebuild international confidence in its carefully managed image as a secure, tolerant and viable international partner following the brutal murder of an American school teacher in Abu Dhabi by a Yemeni-born Emirati national in early December 2014."
Vivian Walker is a Professor of National Security Strategy at the National War College in Washington, DC and was a member of CPD's 2016 Summer Institute course faculty.
