Digital tools have become increasingly more relevant to diplomacy, leading some countries to take it upon themselves to appoint digital ambassadors. The first episode of the new #DigitalDiplomacy podcast from the Embassy of Denmark in Spain interviews the first of these tech ambassadors: Casper Klynge.
"We have to recognize—whether we like it or not—that tech industries and tech companies are becoming extraordinarily influential," says Klynge, who is based in Silicon Valley but has offices in Copenhagen and Beijing.
The second episode of the podcast features CPD Faculty Fellow Corneliu Bjola, Chair of the Oxford Digital Diplomacy Research Group and co-editor of the book, Digital Diplomacy: Theory and Practice.
