KEEP READINGKazakhstan: A Game of Hordes
A Game of Thrones-style TV show titled "Kazakh Khanate" will soon be launched by the Kazakh government. Spurred in part by Russian President Vladimir Putin's comments on the validity of Kazakhstan's existence as a state, this show is one of a number of historical memory and nation-building displays celebrating the 550th anniversary of the khanate.
