NaTakallam: Let's Talk Business
NaTakallam is a start-up that connects Syrian refugees to Arabic-language students around the world. Developed in Lebanon, where local laws prevent more than 1 million refugees from working, this initiative seeks to empower and employ refugees as virtual tutors using only a laptop and an internet connection. In addition to helping refugees earn a living, tutoring via video chat allows them to communicate directly with global audiences in an unprecedented manner.
