NEW: PDiN Monitor, December/January Issue

This latest issue of PDiN Monitor is titled India Emerged: A Review of India's Public Diplomacy Activities. The issue examines the large scale public diplomacy effort put forward by India recently and the rise of its soft power presence in the world.

USC alum Maya Babla led a group of students last month to India to assess the scope of its public diplomacy. Her piece India Inside and Out - A Case Study in Indian Public Diplomacy, chronicles the findings of the trip as well as media coverage India's PD has received this month. We are also pleased to publish a piece by Navdeep Suri, Joint Secretary and Head of the Public Diplomacy Division in India's Ministry of External Affairs, titled India Is - Old and New, overviewing the work his team has been doing to increase India's presence on the world stage.

Lastly, PDiN Monitor Managing Editor Naomi Leight has contributed Public Diplomacy Snapshot - 2011, a review of the news on public diplomacy in the last year.

Other items in this issue:

  • PDiN Roundup presents key stories on public diplomacy issues from around the world.
  • PD in Print includes the most recent CPD Blog posts, the latest CPD Perspectives and more.
