French President Emmanuel Macron on Saturday promised to help raise more than $1 billion in new funding for education in the developing world, calling schools vital in countering extremism. Men in Jazz, a multi award-winning jazz band from Hong Kong, was in the country recently to give a performance at the Youth Centre in the capital and as part of the final leg of their Asean tour. The Japanese Embassy in collaboration with the Pakistan National Council of the Arts organized a joint music performance of Pakistani and Japanese artists titled ‘NIHON Unplugged: Music from Japan and Pakistan’ at the auditorium of National Art Gallery yesterday. [...] To mark the 65th anniversary of diplomatic relations, the Embassy of Japan in Islamabad held a variety of cultural events in various cities of Pakistan throughout the year to further strengthen the existing friendly relations among the people of two countries.

The national capital is set to witness a convergence of top Jazz artistes from all over the world at 7th Delhi International Jazz Festival starting from September 23. Organized by Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), the three-day music festival will be held at Nehru Park, Chanakyapuri here. The Jazz festival will bring together artists from India and countries like France, Israel, Korea, Mexico, Spain, Taiwan, and South Africa.

Preparations for Musica 2017 (Musica), the annual music festival organized by the Embassy of Italy, are at an advanced stage and will be running under the theme: The World coming together in Zimbabwe, the high profile international event will run from October 4 to 7 at the new Italian Club in Chisipite and at various other venues in capital. In a recent interview, the Ambassador of Italy to Zimbabwe Enrico De Agostini said the 10th edition of Musics will be bigger and better than ever before. 

Top Indian band ‘INDIAN OCEAN’ which is visiting Azerbaijan on an international tour performed a captivating concert at Baku Sea side Boulevard on September 11, 2017 which was much enjoyed by Azerbaijani as well as tourists...The present visit of Indian Ocean Band comes as a part of the celebrations of 25th Anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of India and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
