Lauren was the Editor & Publications Manager at the USC Center on Public Diplomacy from 2016-17. She received a Master of Public Diplomacy from USC in 2015.

Lauren is a John Jay College/ Harry Frank Guggenheim Fellow in Criminal Justice Journalism. She writes about human rights and criminal justice issues for VICE. 

Before moving to Los Angeles, Lauren worked as a documentary filmmaker with the Tribeca Film Institute, the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and the Haiti Medical Education Project.
