Dr. Sohaela Amiri is Senior Research Specialist at the USC Center on Public Diplomacy (CPD). In this capacity, she works on CPD-initiated research and consulting projects that entail program evaluation and influence dynamics in the digital age with a focus on subnational and nonstate actors, such as cities and diaspora groups, as well as the local impact of international engagement. Dr. Amiri also manages all research-related activities such as the CPD Research Fellowship and Awards programs. Previously, Dr. Amiri was with the RAND Corporation where she still serves as adjunct policy researcher.
