Singapore Using Cyber Diplomacy as Weapon Against Cybercrimes

Singapore is taking the lead in the war against cybercrime by building alliances regionally and globally. The Emerging Leaders Conference is an annual event of the youth-led World Youth Alliance Asia-Pacific and seeks to enable young people from diverse backgrounds to connect and share ideas in response to today's important issues.

Saudi Arabia Distributes 30,000 Baskets of Food Supplies in Yemen

King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aids began distributing 30,000 baskets of food supplies to needy families in the Hudaydah province in Yemen. It's expected for this aid to help 180,000 people in need. The number of beneficiaries from the center's food programs in the province until the month of October will thus reach 400,000. The food programs have been implemented by a group of local and international partners.

CPTC: Cross-Pacific Partnership Continues with Osaka Jikei Visit

The Clover Park Technical College Lakewood Campus served as a cross-cultural center of learning last week, as a group of students from Japan’s Osaka Jikei College partnered with CPTC’s Medical Laboratory and Medical Histology Technician programs for a study tour and cultural exchange. [...] It was all the continuation of a partnership between the two colleges stretching back more than a decade.

‘Women Economic Empowerment’ Global Summit in Fall 2017

In what became one of this year’s most crucial announcements for global women’s economical empowerment, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher Bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, Chairperson of the NAMA, declared that NAMA will be organizing the first edition of Women Economic Empowerment Global Summit in Fall 2017, during a NAMA–UN Women roundtable held on the sidelines of the second day of ‘Investing in Future’ (IIFMENA) conference in Sharjah.

Health Ministry Plans National Survey to Improve Medical Services for Foreigners

The health ministry is set to conduct the first large-scale survey on the nation’s medical infrastructure for foreign patients as part of efforts to improve services ahead of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, ministry sources said. Targeting some 4,000 hospitals and other medical facilities, the survey will assess records regarding foreigners’ past medical treatment.
