The recent collaboration between the USC Center on Public Diplomacy and the BBC, entitled “Does Soft Power Really Matter?” is now available online via BBC The World Tonight and BBC World Service.
Recorded in front of a live studio audience at the brand new Wallis Annenberg Auditorium, the forum examined whether soft power is effective amid modern conflicts in Gaza, Ukraine, and Syria, along with changing global attitudes in China and Brazil.
BBC Radio 4 host Ritula Shah was joined by P.J. Crowley, George Washington University; Robert G. Kaufman, Pepperdine University; Olga Oliker, RAND; and Jay Wang, USC Center on Public Diplomacy.
