NATO-Georgia Public Diplomacy Forum Discusses Security Challenges

Georgia is one of the closest partners of NATO and immensely contributes to Euro-Atlantic security, says NATO Assistant Secretary General for Public Diplomacy Tacan Ildem. Ildem is in Tbilisi today to participate in the second addition of the NATO-Georgia Public Diplomacy Forum that opened in the Georgian capital today. Health Fairs in Bolivia: Light of Hope with the Support of Cuba

The head of medical assistance of the Cuban brigade in Bolivia, Alina Ochoa, highlighted today the impact of the Health Fairs that since 2016 Cuban collaborators carry out here. [...] Only in 2016, we offered more than 198,000 consultations, the doctor specified, and also said that the work of the Cuban Medical Brigade in Bolivia finds support in the Ministry of Health of the Plurinational State.

Dubai Chamber to Lead High-Level Trade Mission to Latin America

The Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry has finalised preparations for its trade mission to Latin America, which will take place April 15-22 and cover Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina. The Chamber will lead a high-level delegation of UAE businessmen, investors, and officials, who will represent a wide range of sectors, including trade, retail, free zones, food processing and logistics.

Nigeria’s Connected Development (CODE) Wins 2017 #ONEAfricaAward

Connected Development (CODE), a Nigerian based advocacy organisation with a mission to empower marginalized communities by improving access to information needed to better local public services, has won the 9th annual $100,000 ONE Africa Award. CODE was founded by Hamzat Lawal and Oludotun Babayemi, who believe government data should be freely available to citizens.

Cultural Mela Celebrates Nepal-US Relations

Celebrating 70 years of Nepal-US friendship, a Cultural Mela was held at the Staff College in the Capital on Saturday. [...] Speaking to the Post, Cultural Affairs Officer of US embassy, William Holton, said, "Nepal and the US share a very good bilateral relationship. We have been helping each [other] in various ways through the decades and this event honours that special friendship."
