Expo 2020 Dubai to Promote Cultural Exchange

Expo 2020 Dubai will be an outstanding opportunity to witness first-hand the cultural exchange and understanding between the UAE and the world, panellists said at the second day of the Culture Summit 2017 in Abu Dhabi. During the Expo 2020 Dubai Preview panel discussion, representatives from Expo2020 discussed Expo’s plans to deliver a platform to celebrate the exchange of cultures from around the world.

AFRICOM Holds Forum to Discuss Migration Challenges

AFRICOM’s Multinational Cooperation Center and Strategic Outreach Division convened this event to educate elements of the command on irregular migration concerns across the African continent, from origin to transit and destination countries. “The purpose of the forum was to let the command have a better idea of how migration works both at the policy level but also at the practical, on the ground level,”

A month after Trump was elected, Republicans in Congress changed the VOA’s governing structure, replacing its independent and bipartisan board of governors with a CEO appointed directly by the president. Indonesia to Make Riau Islands Hub for Economic Diplomacy

The Foreign Ministry, in cooperation with the Riau Islands provincial administration, plans to make the archipelagic province a hub for Indonesia’s economic diplomacy. Riau Islands province comprises 2,408 islands, including Natuna Islands, a stretch of resource-rich islands jutting at the frontiers of the South China Sea and bordering Vietnam, Cambodia, Singapore and Malaysia.
