Boris Johnson yesterday signalled he backs building a new royal yacht to boost Britain’s international influence after Brexit. The Foreign Secretary insisted a new Royal Yacht Britannia would ‘add greatly’ to the UK’s ‘soft power’. It was the first time the plan has been openly backed by a minister in the House of Commons.

Zambia's Exports to India Hit $475m

She said India's investments in Africa had also received a boost in recent years as African countries were receiving strong investment interest from India due to their high growth markets and mineral rich reserves. Ghanaian Tourism Minister Calls to Promote China-Ghana Tourism Program

Ghana aims to attract the attention of Chinese tourists looking to explore Africa through a China-Ghana Tourism Program proposed by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, which plans to make the country a choice destination for its numerous heritage sites. [...] Programs involving cultural exchange and student exchange are some of the promises presented by Baohong to Afeku, and Ghana can also expect improvement in logistical needs related to tourism, arts and culture, as the country endeavors to attract the attention of more Chinese tourists.

VANK to Launch Youth Public Diplomacy Team in Ukraine

A South Korean non-governmental organization said Monday that it will launch a youth team in Ukraine this week to step up promotion of South Korea and its policy and culture in the European region. The digital public diplomacy team will be comprised of 100 local and Korean students. Its launch ceremony will be held at a university in Kiev, Ukraine on Friday, according to the Voluntary Agency Network of Korea.
