Fujian's Jinjiang On International Promotion To Boost Image, Reputation

"China Kaleidoscope: Jinjiang City Week," was launched on Monday to boost and improve the image and reputation of the city, a country-level city of Quanzhou, in Fujian Province. Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Jinjiang Committee's Director, Lin Huiling, said that the event was part of the international promotion of Jinjiang's image as well as a crucial step towards internationalisation.

Justin Trudeau Promises to Promote LGBT Rights Abroad

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau vows to keep the promotion of LGBT rights abroad as a central plank of Canada’s foreign policy. India and Bangladesh Join Hands For Radio Diplomacy

An initiative launched in 1971 to back Bangladeshi nationalists in their liberation struggle is set to take flight again, this time on the wings of a powerful radio transmitter that will put forward India’s perspective on issues facing the subcontinent. After five months of preparation, All India Radio’s (AIR) Kolkata station is ready to launch Akashvani Maitree—a service in Bengali aimed primarily at Bangladeshis—as New Delhi looks to strengthen diplomatic ties with Dhaka.
